Watch-Cufflinks.com features entirely hand made jewelry by artist and designer Ricky Wolbrom, who has a long history in the jewelry
business that began in Manhattan's diamond district. Ricky spends countless hours seeking out the finest quality mechanical jeweled watch movements and watch parts to make each piece a stunning one-of-a-kind creation.
Many pieces are on display in galleries and boutiques.
The artist's vision and creativity make the pieces here on Watch-Cufflinks.com the only of their kind.
The jewelry making process is a time consuming and highly detailed endeavor. No piece is finished until it has the desired look, which may take several iterations until that desired outcome is achieved. Ricky works hard to ensure the visual integrity of the vintage pieces
being used. All of our jewelry is professionally torch soldered
with silver solder for maximum durability and a lifetime of wear
and enjoyment, except, of course, in such instances where solder
cannot be used, such as with crystals or other materials which
cannot be bonded with solder. For these materials a professional
grade, clear industrial jewelry bonding agent is used for a
superior bond and a visually stunning presentation.
Please Note: None of the watch movements shown are working, running movements. Due to the fact that movements are mounted to
settings where the watch face typically resides, it is impossible to maintain a working timepiece in this configuration, however, balances and other gears may continue to move freely.
Because each vintage watch part or movement is unique unto itself, all of the art pieces on this site are truly
one-of-a-kind and come with a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist.
